Our Story

"The good news, this revival in E149 was started on Oct'05; within a year under Gabriel's leadership we multiply on Nov'06.
The better news is that within 9 months time we multiplied again on August'07.
Now finally the best news is this, the revival is burning on stronger and stronger in the 3rd generation of E149, and they shall arise to greater heights!
How did we did it? OUR God is Faithful! Jesus is the answer =)
In closing, One CG in 21 months time grew and became Four CG.
Although four CG is not alot, but give it time, give it focus, it will grow.
From four CG, who will they be in another 21 months time and another 21 months time?
Glory be to God!"

I came across this interesting devil's 11 beatitudes and I realised it is very true. Take a look!
Blessed are those Christians who are TOO TIRED, TOO BUSY,
too distracted to spend time with their fellow Christians in Church
- for they are my best candidates to backslide.
Blessed are those Christians who WAITED TO BE ASKED
and EXPECT TO BE THANKED
-for I can use them to slow things down.
Blessed are those Christians who are CRITICAL of church authorities;
with a bit of luck they may STOP GOING TO CHURCH and get others to quit
- they are my missionaries.
Blessed are those Christians who are CONSISTENT CHURCH-HOPPERS; they may help me decrease God's committed labor force, and are candidates for those waiting to be served rather than to serve.
Blessed are those Christians who are VERY RELIGIOUS
but GET ON EVERYONE'S nerves
- they are my most effective stumbling blocks.
Blessed are those Christians who are TROUBLEMAKERS
- they are my best wrecking crew.
GOSSIP and SLANDER are my favourite toys.
Blessed are those Christians who have NO TIME TO PRAY
- they are the easiest prey for me
- in fact, no effort at all.
Blessed are those Christians who are COMPLAINERS
- they are my best discouragers.
They do the work of doubting God and making His gifts look ugly.
Blessed are those Christians who practice HYPOCRISY
- they prove that God is still not their master,
and it is only a matter of time before I can edge my way in fully.
Blessed are those Christians who DO NOT READ THEIR BIBLES.
I no longer need to think about what methods to use to deceive them,
because now I can use any method, and they will be so weak,
that any method will work!
Blessed are YOU when YOU read this
and THINK IT IS ABOUT OTHER PEOPLE
and NOT YOURSELF - I've got YOU!
With people like YOU increasing, I can retire from my job soon.
Oh well, what's more can I say? Are You tricked by the devil in any areas?

"Sons"
What are real friends? I really really felt Royston preached a great word last week and even I had a change of mindset about the ways that i see things. Thank God like what Kai Sheng blogged! We had fun.. We made fun of one another but yet we still respect one another. There are different kind of people and that's why we all respond to things differently. It has been one year since we multiplied and though we may not have hit our target but i still believe the Lord is Faithful.
For a righteous man may fall seven times
And rise again,
But the wicked shall fall by calamity.
Prov 24:16

Have E149 changed? Yes. Definately. Because we all have changed, however some changed for the better while others are left stuck in the past. Frankly speaking i felt that i have changed a lot and even now there are still so many areas that i need to change. But because i am a "son" i want to change. Thank God for God Himself and like what the bible says. The Lord chastens those whom He love.
Thanks guys! You make me enjoy the fight! - 6weeks.
Let's be like Jesus. Freely He gave it all away. So let's not be so self-centred anymore. Always expecting this and that in return of a good that we've done. Because just like Jesus, he did not expect the return because he knew that we still have the ability to choose. So let's cherish that! And let's be like God! Freely you give, freely you recieve! A new chapter, a new beginning. Let's write it together. It's time we put the past aside and not be tied down by it and look at where God is calling us to! Instead of searching love all the time, let us now arise and give love. No matter if man gives it back or not, it's not the most important; But let's make sure we are refilled by His love daily as we live with a heart of thanksgiving!
Where can i go from your presence?
Where will I be if i never came to church? What will i become if i never listen to Royston or Gabriel? Where did all that i have came from if i did not lay down my life for Him. E149. Let's be grateful to the Lord for all that He has done and let us never turn our back from Him and His people. Even if it is walking through fire. At least you must know that He is walking it with you. Our lives must not be built only on men. - (see you at CG this week as royston shares more!)
